"NIGHT TRAIN DREAM"

On the train in motion
 leaving the station
  on a saxophone of rails
   my engineer is a woman
    boundless, soaring , kind
     Out there, the Graffiti Ghosts
      leave rusty antlers
and blood on the bricks in black
        Iron rail cruisers
         with Tokay's gargled breath
          understand that the stars
           are the beacons
            of the wailing darkened heats
             Go away you heartless
Dwell in the wild hunter camps

"ZEN TRAIN"

Dissolution in the white boughs
 part trees and clouds
  The last snow of winter
   Slow train moving
    in the southern Oregon hills
     Dark tunnel self-portraits
      on the windows of night
       A gaze fog white peace
        In our Zen Train
         earth green returns
like an elegy to a far place

"ICE WIND"

Climbing on ice tops and rock heights
 on a weathered color dome
  in a cloud home
My mind is rescued from oblivion
    In the avalanche
I live in the ice wind
I am lost in a snowdrift
       I call to you
        You come to my
         cold snow cave
          Your white rose lips
           touch mine
            As we dance
             the snowdrift dances

"WINTER SOLSTICE"

We are apart again. My dreams are the
furthest from the Sun. In the longest of nights
my solitude whispers at your shadow on the moon.
My spirit path sees a gesture of you in the fire.
My focus of you is a love so clear.
